Check out the #AFWishIWasThere Photo Contest from Al Fresco

Gwanghwamun Gate in downtown Seoul, South Korea is the outer gate of Gyeongbokgung Palace.

If you’re anything like me, you’re definitely tired of winter and getting ready for the beautiful weather that comes with spring and summer. And, like clockwork, as the days start to get longer and the weather starts to warm, I get an itch to start planning my summer travels.

One of my favorite things to do this time of year is to look at my old travel photos as inspiration for where I want to head next. So, when I heard about a contest from Al Fresco Holidays that was based around scrolling through my old travel photos, I was really excited.

I got even more excited when I found out that entering one of my old photos could win me a brand new Nikon DSLR camera or £400 worth of travel vouchers for my next trip!

All you have to do to enter is pick out your favorite photo from your past vacation and share it with your friends and family on Instagram and Twitter. Simply add the hash tag “#AFWishIWasThere” and “@AlFrescoHols” to be entered in this great contest. Full rules can be found on the official contest page on the Al Fresco Blog.

At the top of this post is the photo that I entered in the contest.

This photo is of Gwanghwamun Gate in downtown Seoul, South Korea. Despite having lived in Korea for two years, there is still so much that I want to see that I regularly dream about visiting this amazing country again. There’s no question that if money and time were no object, I would head back for a visit as soon as possible

This is definitely a great contest to enter. However, act quick as the contest ends on Friday, February 28, 2014. There aren’t a ton of entries, so you have a great chance at winning this fantastic prize. Again, visit the Al Fresco blog for full rules and information about entering.
